Stagecoach Brewing Company

Born in Bluff Country -- Serving History in a Pint

Born in Bluff Country and nestled on Brewery Creek, Stagecoach Brewing Company brews world-class, small-batch handcrafted ales in the historic town of Mantorville, Minnesota. We bring that great beer together with a celebration of the legacies of the pioneer breweries in whose shadows we stand.

At Stagecoach Brewing Company, you'll find "history in a pint."

Today, our little brewery carries on the legacy of the breweries that served the local immigrant farmers in the area starting in the mid-1800s. In fact, our building sits on the original site of the first Mantorville brewery, known in 1857 as the Dodge County Brewery. Our Beers

Since 1996, when Mantorville's brewery was reborn as the Stagecoach Brewing Company, we have crafted easy-drinking, award-winning beers and Minnesota originals.

  • Stagecoach Amber Ale, Minnesota's original amber ale. First brewed in honor of the Stagecoach Saloon located in Mantorville's beloved Hubbell House, Stagecoach Amber Ale is the brewery's inaugural brew. It is made with five different malts and generous portions of American hops.

  • Stagecoach Honey Golden Ale, Minnesota's original honey ale. A traditional golden ale and the brewery’s second inaugural brew, Stagecoach Honey Golden is made with four varieties of premium malts to give a clean, smooth flavor. It has generous amounts of noble hops, honey and honey malts to create balance and a touch of sweetness. Stagecoach Honey Golden was awarded 90 points and a gold medal in the 2015 Beverage Testing Institute’s World Beer Championship.

  • Stagecoach Smoked Porter, Minnesota's original smoked beer. Stagecoach Smoked Porter is brewed with peated whiskey malts, a true connoisseurs' favorite.

Where We Are Today

Last year's polar vortex and historic summer flood played havoc on our brewery, and we have been picking up the pieces since. We thank the Mantorville community and those who have visited or are planning a visit for your patience as we rebuild and look to the future. We plan to share more updates on our progress and efforts to reopen via our social media channels. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date.

Meanwhile, we invite you to visit historic Mantorville. Whether you are enjoying a standout meal at one of the town's restaurants or cafes, finding the perfect gift or item at our great antique and gift shops, or taking a walking tour of the historic sites, Mantorville offers a wealth of small town charm.

We will see you soon. Cheers!
